How to get concert tickets to a sold out show
You have thrown yourself in front of the computer for almost twenty four hours now and still all the sites you know have only one thing to tell you: “sold out”.
There are definitely no alternative cheap concert tickets to the expensive ones available. And you have begged everyone you know to help you get your hands on those concert tickets but you can't still find any. This article tackles on other methods you can do to have the concert tickets.
-
Because you don't have any other choice, you can go to radio stations and ask if they have contests wherein the price would be a concert ticket.
-
If you can't seem to win those radio contests, you can always contact or email the local concert promoter who is assigned in organizing the concert in your area. Ask them if you can join the team in promoting the show for an exchange of the tickets.
-
You can approach a ticket broker. Even though you know that they are selling cheap concert tickets for a higher price, this is the only option you can have left if you are that desperate to watch the concert.
Try your local Criagslist or
Wiki to see if there are any tickets being offered.
An alternate method would be to see if they are hiring temporary security for a concert. While you might not have good seats (and do run the risk of being positioned where you can't see anything), you can often listen to the concert as you direct drunk and stoned people away from the wrong hallway.
If all else fails, show up and talk to people. Wear appropriate clothes and be friendly, and you can often get a ticket for free from a group who showed up with a member missing.
